What is a Webinar and how do your Webinars work?
A Webinar is an Internet-based training session. You see on your computer (and hear) exactly the same information you would see and hear if you were sitting in one of our live classroom seminars. You will have the same handouts so you can take notes throughout.

To help keep things interesting, we use a variety of presentation methods… QuickBooks® software, Power Point slides, Excel files, etc.


Internet Link
When you purchase a seminar, you will receive an Internet link to your webinar which, when accessed, will appear on your computer in a video + audio format.

Note 1:  You may want to visit a “Webinar Preview” to get a flavor for how the Internet part of the presentation works.  You will need a high speed Internet connection (cable, DSL, etc.) for these webinars and for the Preview.

Note 2: There is  no need to use your phone for these sessions as sound is included as a part of the computer connection. Please be sure that you have speakers or headphones attached to your computer to hear the audio portion of the seminar.


Reference Materials
You will also receive a file with 15-20 pages of valuable class reference materials for each class - which you can review before you start the seminar, and use during the presentation to take notes and create diagrams to help reinforce your learning experience. Many of our seminar participants keep this reference material in a special notebook, so they can refer back to them later as they work in their QuickBooks company files.

  • Learn at your own pace - As with most recorded media, you will be able to pause, replay, or fast-forward the Internet presentation.  This allows you to focus on, or review, areas of extra interest or importance to you.

  5. Help you learn in manageable segments – each class consists of two 50-minute sessions.  Experience has taught us that 1-hour classes may not allow enough time to thoroughly cover the material, and 3-hour classes can create “brain overload leading to brain shutdown”.  So, like Goldilocks, we’re targeting the absorption rate that's "just right".

  6. Lead you through all eight modules within a four-week time frame for live seminars.  For on-demand seminars, we allow up to 90 days to complete the series.

  7. Provide a consistent, repeatable learning experience.  Accounting techniques and approaches can be as varied as building techniques and approaches.  Our webinars help to ensure that each of your accounting employees is trained in a consistent, similar manner using a proven, integrated approach.  This is especially important to companies who experience internal transition or turnover in the accounting function.

What will I need to attend my Webinars?
All you will need to attend one of our live web-based events is a PC with a high speed connection to the internet and speakers or a headset attached to your computer.
What do the Webinars cost?
Individual 2-hour seminars are currently priced at $129.

For bargain hunters – if you purchase the entire QuickBooks® + Construction series, you receive two of the eight classes at no charge (i.e., a 25% discount), which brings your investment down to less than $49 per training hour. 

This is an exceptional value, especially when compared with:
  • Standard consulting/training rates (which can range from $90 to $175 per hour for construction-specific QuickBooks® training and problem-solving).
  • Seminars which require travel, lodging, meals, and time away from the office and family (those costs alone could easily exceed the cost of the entire series!)
